2. Data we collect
We collect: name, email, payment data (processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers), IP address and platform usage behaviour.
3. Purpose
We use your data for: licence and account management, payment processing, communications related to purchased products, technical support and platform improvement.
4. Data sent by our MetaTrader 5 EAs
To check the licence, each EA contacts evtradelabs.com when it starts and every 12 hours, and sends: the licence key, the MT5 account number, which EA it is, the account type (real, demo or contest), the broker server and the EA and terminal versions. We use this to validate the licence and to know which EAs are used and on what kind of account. If you also switch on the EA's “Help improve our models” option (off by default), every 12 hours it sends that EA's trades — never manual trades or other EAs' — symbol, direction, volume, prices, SL/TP, profit, commission and swap, together with the account's currency, leverage and balance. We use them to measure the EAs' real results and improve our models. The EA does not send your name or email, but this data is linked to your licence. You can switch the option off at any time and ask us to delete what was sent by writing to contact@evtradelabs.com
5. Legal basis
The legal basis is the performance of the purchase contract (software licence). The usage data the EAs send rests on our legitimate interest in protecting and improving the software; trade sharing rests on your consent, which you give by switching the option on in the EA and withdraw by switching it off. For marketing communications we will request your explicit consent.
6. Your rights
You have the right to: access your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection. Exercise them by writing to contact@evtradelabs.com
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for platform operation (authentication, cart). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising.
8. Retention
We retain your data while you have an active account or for the period required to meet legal obligations (normally 5 years for tax documents).
9. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or destruction.
